To Bow To Somebody: To Show Respect For Somebody


To bow to somebody: To bend your body forward as a sign of  respect for somebody. This gesture is easily seen in Asian cultures.

  • A Narrator is "the person who tells, describes or explains a story"
  • In many an age means "for a very long time". This is not a commonly used expression.

Not to See the End of a Day: To Threaten Somebody



Not to see the end of day: If somebody threatens another person by saying that "he or she will not see the end of a day", then this person is going to be killed or severely punished by somebody as a sigh of revenge. ____________________________________________________________________

To go hang: To be without any attention or support because you don't care a bit about somebody or something.

To claim something: You claim something that you can not prove when you say that you are responsible for it, able to do it, or that it belongs to you; even though there is no evidence of it.

To Be Family: To Belong To The Same Family



To be family: This is a way of saying that you or another person belong to the same family.  
For some learners of English as second language it would be more common to say "we are a family" or "we belong to the same family".

To be top notch: If something is described as "top notch", then it is excellent because it is of very high quality and standard.

      To hunt somebody down: If someone or something hunts somebody down they eagerly search for them in order to kill or severely punish.
